i was Grandfathered (literally) into the biz

My passion for photography began when I inherited my late grandfather’s gear in high school, circa 2008. I was determined to learn how to capture the art in people and their interests. After some practice, I discovered my great love for wedding and lifestyle photography during my senior year of high school. I love building a connection with my clients that will last far beyond our scheduled time, while documenting their special life events.

I graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in Recreation, Park and Tourism Sciences live and work in Galveston although travel frequently. I grew up in the Houston area but have spent most of the last 10 years living in different parts of Texas.

Most days you can find me at a local coffee shop (with one of three drinks; a chai latte, london fog, or a vanilla latte) listening to an array of tunes, and either managing all that goes into my photography business to make sure that my clients have the very best or working on upcoming travel plans. Aside from photography, I love to travel, and enjoy researching the best local places each city has to offer.

I'm always looking for the best angle, sweetest pose, and everlasting moment. Mostly, I love making art come to life – that's where you come in!

My goal in every shoot is to capture my clients’ unique story. Couples, families, and individuals alike, I want you to look back and smile about the moments we seized for the rest of their lives.

I want you to feel comfortable, and most importantly, stunning! My priority is to fully be in tune with your vision and what you would like to accomplish.

and advocate for my couples, will be there to share posing ideas that compliment you, help make sure Aunt Susie gets a great photo to share on Facebook, and then kindly invite her to enjoy the cocktail hour.

I will be there to help bustle your dress, make sure you’ve had water and a snack, pin a boutonniere, and am also willing to sew a groomsmen’s pants back together when he’s gotten too low during wedding party photos (true story).. With me, you’ll get all the posed photos that you know you should have, and all of the candid’s that you’ll actually hang on your walls.

The details are important, you’ve worked hard to contract vendors that are able to make your vision a reality, or you’ve worked those endless nights to create the details of your dreams yourself. If you choose me as your photographer- I’ve got you.

I love to plan, but planning isn’t everything when it comes to wedding photography. A timeline is great, and believe me, I can work within a timeline and to a list of photos from Google. But let’s talk about what you really want your day, and your wedding photos to look like, walk me through the favorite parts of your relationship, your first date, what your proposal was like, your favorite songs-

Weddings start at $1,400

portrait sessions start at $300

and I typically host fall mini sessions in a few different cities, so follow me on socials to keep an eye out for those!

I believe that everyone should be able to have wonderful photos

that’s why I offer more budget friendly pricing. If I am outside of your initial price range but you think that we would work well together, reach out to me. I do offer custom packages that might fit your budget better than my ‘typical’ packages. Every wedding is different as they should be, and I strive to capture each wedding to tell YOUR love story.

I enhance photos after the sessions, but I feel the majority of my work is done in posing, lighting, camera settings, atmosphere, and communication. So the majority of the work is done prior to clicking the shutter.

Unless booked in studio, or in your home, all portrait sessions are held in natural light settings, outdoors. I search for locations that are interesting but ultimately, the photograph is composed of you! It is important to show up to your session feeling and looking your best!

If you are looking for a ‘perfect’ retouched image with body altering edits, I might not be the photographer for you.

I do have a ‘day job’ that I choose to keep because I love it very much, but I am very passionate about my photography, and making sure that each of my clients gets the best.

I am located in Galveston, Texas. I love to travel and am SO willing to travel for your portrait session or wedding. I have photographed weddings in many states and am always willing to make a trip so let’s plan it. Even if you are getting married in Texas, maybe you want to take your engagement photos in Chicago or Mexico, I’m in!
